**PLEASE NOTE: Bilingual feelings cards do not have English and Te Reo Māori on the same card. It is a deck of 32 cards- 16 English cards and 16 Te Reo Māori Cards.**

To create the ultimate Peaceful Place we suggest you add the following:
- All posters and cards from your Peaceful Place Pack
- A comfortable seating area (e.g a bean bag and cushions)
- Books about feelings/some of their favourite books
- Calming strategy activities, e.g blocks, play dough, fidget toys, breathing props and/or puzzles
You can make your space as simple or as grand as you wish! You could add some fairy lights, mirrors, art or anything else you think your child might like

I wholeheartedly believe work begins when our children are little so when they grow up they have the tools necessary to recognise and process theirs emotions for the better! Cute illustrations and so colourful… Have also purchased for friends aa well

The Peaceful Place Pack is a game-changer. It facilitates early language and concepts around how to identify our emotions and strategies for how regulate them. Not only has it helped my children, but it’s helped me in to recognise when I have heightened emotions myself and have a place to go to explain to my children what’s happening with me and be able to co-regulate. I wish these types of resources were around when I was a child. I’m so grateful to have found them now and to be growing alongside my children ❤️
I have used these beautiful bicultural resources as a mum and a kindergarten kaiako. They’ve been a great support for my son to work through his big emotions and develop agency in expressing himself. We love the resources at kindy in our peaceful place, helping tamariki to express all feelings, have these validated, and be supported to co-regulate in the early years. The calming strategies are fabulous, and we love the English and Te Reo Kupu for each feeling.
